FAQs and INFO
Why did it take so long to come out with V-ROD systems?
The chopper and customs craze kept us so busy we could barely keep up with production. We had tons of calls for V-ROD pipes and sadly, had to turn them away. These are bar none the most difficult pipes we have ever made.

Can baffles be removed ?
NO, they are welded in due to curves / turn out tips

How loud are they?
V-Rod w/ Mild Cam, NO baffles of any kind, loud. Sounds great with louvered core baffles. We highly recommend them.

What do you recommend as far as baffling?
Depends....
Stock bike with a mellow rider, 1-3/4" baffles louvered for quiet, 1-3/4" straight core loud.
Stock to Mild Modified (mild cams) with aggressive rider, 2" louvered core quiet or 2" straight core loud.
Modified (head work, radical cams, throttle body upgrade, etc), straight core 2" long or short or nothing.... ask your motor builder/ blueprinter.
(Cyclops same ratios)

Do I need anything else as far as upgrades?
Just buy the K&N air filter, it flows better, and its can be cleaned. You'll be saving money in the long run after your dealer swaps out your stock air filter 3 times on you.

Do I need a programable fuel module?
YES! Even a bone stock bike needs one if you ask me. I highly recomend "POWER COMMANDER" and we offer it at $309 (retails $369) with purchase of any of our systems
(Copied off "Power Commander" FAQ site)
My Power Commander came with O2 eliminators, should I use these and what are they?
On bikes that use an O2 sensor in the stock exhaust have a closed loop area that can not be adjusted by the Power Commander alone. If you make adjustments with the PCIII in the closed loop area the O2 sensor will sense these changes and the ECM will alter the fuel curve accordingly. If you want to have full fuel control over the entire RPM range of your bike then you will need to bypass the closed loop area which the O2 eliminators will accomplish.

Why can't I get the Cyclops slip-on in chrome?
Chrome is transferred by electricty, meaning it takes the easiest path to the closest point, therefore no chrome will get between the two primary tubes before the merge (ITS GOING TO RUST!). Stainless steel grades have come a long way, polished stainless steel will look 95% as good as chrome.

Can i get them in stainless steel?
NO

Will these be logo'd?
No

Are these in stock?
No, they are built to order, usually 1 week to less than a month turn around, depending on work load and finish(ie: black, chrome...)

ADDITIONAL INFO...
*Factory head pipes are 2", our "FULL systems" start off at 2" for 1/2" then drop to 1-7/8" for back pressure.

*Our systems are constructed of 16 gauge tubing. Most others are 18 gauge (thinner). Why? They are less prone to cracking or dings when you drop that wrench... Not to mention more back pressure since the extra material is added to the inside of the tube.

*We sell direct, no dealers, no distributors, no discounts on V-Rod exhausts at the present time, unless we run a sale.

*For those who haven't heard of us since some of you aren't chopper or custom guys/gals... We have been in business since 2001, we don't work out of  a shack, barn or back yard, we are located at 1739 Lee Rd Orlando FL, 1/4 mile west of I-4.
